UX Designer
April is a User Experience Designer with 5+ years of experience in the design industry. Starting as a graphic designer in Jakarta, Indonesia, April specialized in branding & art directing, illustration, and photography. Her UX design career took off after participating in a Hackathon in 2016. From that point on, she focused on digital design and gained experience in designing user flow, interactive prototype, user journey mapping, user research, user testing, analytics, and SEO.
She loves to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and keep up with the accelerated design and technology evolution. April believes in the importance of good design and user-centered design, and is very excited to contribute her skills to designing Virtual Reality experiences that can positively impact people’s health and wellness, both mentally and physically.
April holds a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design from Bina Nusantara University in Jakarta, Indonesia. April is bilingual in English and Indonesian.

What do you find most inspiring or powerful about VR?
Access to chances and opportunities. VR can take user to place they have never (or would not be able to) go or do before, due to life limitation. VR also versatile to different industry, not just gaming such as health care, social, sports, etc.
What’s your favorite thing we’re working on at BehaVR?
My favorite thing to do in BehaVR is understanding and exploring the right user experience and interface design through cutting edge technology and good design in mind. We’re here to give back to community through our innovative behavioral health program and I’m proud to be a part of it.

Escaping escape rooms.
